Bako National Park

Notable for its incredible biodiversity, from pitcher plants to terrestrial orchids, bearded pigs, and long-tailed macaques. Best place in Borneo to observe the long-nosed proboscis monkeys. Offer a number of trekking & walking trails

The Lodge

The Nanga Sumpa lodge operates as a type of “village stay” and is located on the bank of Delok River, in a pristine and isolated area of Ulu Ai, the upper reaches of the Ai River catchment. It serves as a base for a range of nature-based activities and excursions and offers visitors the chance of learning about the culture and lifestyle of the Iban community who live in the nearby longhouse.

Nanga Sumpah Longhouse

A visit to the Iban longhouse is often the highlight of a trip to Sarawak, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Iban tribe who have for generations lived in the remote interior of Borneo. Visitors have the chance of learning about the culture and lifestyle of the Iban community in the longhouse.

Rainforest Experience

What makes Ulu Ai so special is the natural environment and stunning scenery. Clean rivers and jungle streams, refreshing waterfalls, and undisturbed tracts of rainforest allow you to combine a range of outdoor activities including swimming BBQ by the river bank with food prepared by the Iban, jungle trekking on trails that take you along streams and through farmlands to primary rainforest.

Sarawak Cultural Village

Sarawak Cultural Village is located 32 KM from Kuching City at the foot of Mount Santubong. Better known as the “ Living Museum” it showcases replicas of traditional dwellings built by different people of Sarawak-Orang Ulu, Bidayuh, Iban, and Melanau, Penan shelter, Malay & Chinese houses. The dwellings are staffed by various tribal people performing their daily activities of various ethnic groups. The highlight is the Multi-Cultural Show at the theatre.

Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

The Centre is home to semi-wild orang utan found either injured/orphaned in the forest or rescued from captivity and rehabilitate and train to survive in the surrounding forest reserve.
